Having released two albums last year, VAZUM is now releasing it's third, entitled 'Variant' on July, 19th. 'Variant' leans more towards the post-punk and goth sensibilities of the band, featuring two Bauhaus covers, 'She's in Parties' and 'The Passion of Lovers'.
Gold Crayon indie / alternative - 11 pm
A shimmering indie-pop with trippy vocal incantations and charging guitars, somewhere between the swagger of the Strokes and the strut of T. Rex. Scrappy as it is smooth and cerebral as it is soulful, Gold Crayon's channels the cruder furies of rock into aurate art-pop.
Vstrs psych / alternative - 10 pm
VSTRS are an LSD experience. I could have listened to this band play for hours. The music resonated with a droning, dreamy quality that would ebb & flow between soft space to crunchy guitar & drum. Ethereal vocals added the cherry on top of this psychedelic adventure.
